Why SENSANO?

The jb-x group has a strong focus on the development, operation and support of online shopping portals. Around 50 portals are currently being developed and supported. The sector focus is on the hotel industry, clinics, retirement and nursing homes, assisted living, rescue and transportation services. There are further installations for breweries and beverage wholesalers. The services for portal operation are provided in full by jb-x business solutions GmbH for the individual portal operators (groups, associations, purchasing companies). Cooperation management GmbH is the portal operator of SENSANO

Cooperation Management Logo Cooperation management GmbH acts as an independent portal operator within the jb-x Group. With the portal "die Privathoteliers", a purchasing and reporting portal for renowned private hoteliers (including Schloss Elmau, Sonnenalp, Kranzbach, Königshof) has been successfully managed in the form of a purchasing cooperation since 2009. Almost 200 supplier catalogs and an order volume of more than 15 million euros are managed.

With the Sensano portal, cooperation management is expanding its business area with a promising portal specifically for the healthcare and social services sector. Today, several hundred companies use the portal for the procurement of general company requirements. However, it is also used to procure sector-specific requirements for hospitals, retirement and care facilities, assisted living facilities and rescue and transportation services.

In a transition phase until July 1, 2018, cooperation management GmbH is preparing an upgrade to an even more powerful portal for the Sensano portal's long-standing providers and companies. The changeover will take place during ongoing operations and will provide users with more extensive functionalities and a simpler user interface. The addition of a mobile procurement solution, a disposition and inventory processing function, integrated invoice control, contract management or recipe and menu planning will enable more extensive use and, accordingly, more meaningful real-time reporting.

jb-x eBusiness-Suite, Einkaufs- und Reportingportal für Hotellerie und Carebetriebe  jb-x business solutions GmbH, the "software forge" in the jb-x Group, provides portal operation and software development. Software requirements or special customer requests for the Sensano portal can therefore be implemented promptly and precisely. The expertise acquired in recent years in the integration of procurement portals within jb-x business solutions GmbH will also enable the portal to be operated more efficiently. There are already numerous interfaces to ERP or financial accounting systems for the digital processing of document data, which should significantly reduce time-consuming and redundant data entry.

Current pilot projects for processing digital invoices in ZUGFERD format or EDI invoices, automated invoice verification and subsequent archiving of receipts will also be offered for the SENSANO portal by the end of 2018.
